Liara Tamani lives in Houston, Texas. She holds an MFA in writing from Vermont College. She is the author of the acclaimed Calling My Name, which was a 2018 PEN America Literary Award Finalist and SCBWI Golden Kite Finalist, and All the Things We Never Knew, which was a 2020 Kirkus Best YA Book of the

Anna Meriano
is the author of the Love Sugar Magic series and This Is How We FlyShe graduated from Rice University with a degree in English and earned her MFA in creative writing with an emphasis in writing for children from the New School in New York. She works as a writing teacher and tutor in her hometown of Houston. Anna likes reading, knitting, and playing full-contact quidditch

Joy Preble is the author of a medium-long list of young adult novels including the Dreaming Anastasia series, the Sweet Dead Life series, Finding Paris, and her newest novel, It Wasn’t Always Like This. She is fond of clever conversation and clever cocktails, teaches writing at Writespace Houston and is also the Children’s Programming and Events Director at Brazos Bookstore.
