Attendees will have the opportunity to have a manuscript critiqued, either virtually or in a written e-critique. Virtual critiques will take place on Zoom. You may register for a critique with your conference registration. There are a limited number of critiques and they sell out fast, so register early!
This year we are excited to offer a new critique option: an Extended Critique of the first 25 pages of a manuscript!

October 1, 2020 – General conference registration deadline
Please read the faculty bios prior to registering. It is the Attendee’s responsibility to choose the critique faculty that best fits the category of manuscript (NF, PB, MG, YA, etc…).
Conference Attendees may register for one (1) of the following:
ONE (1) Virtual Critique ($40 per critique)
Zoom critiques include review of the first 10 pages of manuscript and a 12-minute face-to-face critique at an assigned time slot to take place via Zoom on the mornings of Saturday October, 3rd or Sunday, October 4th*.
ONE (1) Extended Virtual Critique ($80 per critique)
Extended Zoom critiques include review of the first 25 pages of a manuscript, and include a 20-minute face-to-face critique at an assigned time slot to take place during the evening of Monday October, 5th*. Extended Zoom critiques are limited to manuscripts
Manuscripts submitted for a virtual critique (both regular and extended) are eligible to be entered into the Joan Lowery Nixon Award, which includes one year of mentoring. Participants must opt in to be eligible.
*While we will do our best to stay within the stated dates, additional critique times outside these dates may be required to meet demand or the needs of the faculty.
ONE (1) E-Critique ($35 per critique)
E-critiques review the first 10 pages of manuscript and provide a written critique via email. E-critique faculty will make every effort to return critiques within the week following the conference.
